Invitation to Tender – Grounds Maintenance Services
Aston Clinton Parish Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for the provision of grounds maintenance services across several sites within the parish. Opportunities are available for individual contracts or multiple contracts, subject to separate tender submissions.
The Parish Council is inviting tenders for the following three separate contracts:
1. Aston Clinton Park: Contract period: 1 March 2027 to 28 February 2028
2. St Michael & All Angels Churchyard: Contract period: 1 March 2027 to 28 February 2030
3. Footpaths & Hedges: Contract period: 1 March 2027 to 28 February 2030

Tender Submissions
Please ensure that you are familiar with the nature and extent of the works and the requirements of the relevant contract before submitting a tender.
Contractors wishing to inspect the sites are welcome to do so. Please contact the Parish Clerk to arrange a visit.
The deadline for receipt of tender submissions is:
5.00pm on Friday, 30 October 2026
Late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders must include a completed Tender Response Form for each contract being tendered for, together with the supporting information requested within the form.
Tendering for More Than One Contract
The Parish Council is inviting tenders for three separate contracts.
Contractors may tender for more than one contract. Each contract must be submitted as a separate tender, using the relevant Tender Response Form.
If tendering for more than one contract:
- A separate Tender Response Form must be completed for each contract.
- Each tender must be submitted separately and clearly identified with the name of the contract.
- The same two referees may be used for each tender, but copies of the reference details must be included with each submission.
- If there is a pricing benefit to the Parish Council in awarding more than one contract to the same contractor, this should be stated in the Additional Remarks section of the relevant Tender Response Form

Tender Evaluation
The tender process will be a single-stage process.
Tenders will be assessed in accordance with the evaluation criteria set out in the relevant tender documents. The Council will consider quality, relevant experience, proposed service delivery arrangements and price when determining the most economically advantageous tender
Freedom of Information
Information submitted to the Parish Council may be subject to disclosure or publication in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
If a contractor considers that information included in its tender response is commercially confidential, this should be clearly identified and an explanation provided of the potential harm that could result from its disclosure or publication.
