Residents will probably have seen that Bucks Council has now published its Draft Local Plan, which sets out how every town and parish in Buckinghamshire will grow and develop up to 2045.

The Plan will guide decisions on where new homes, jobs, infrastructure and community facilities should be located and will have significant implications for Aston Clinton.

The consultation is now at the Regulation 19 stage, which is the final opportunity for residents, businesses and organisations to comment before the Plan is submitted for independent examination. The consultation runs until 11.59pm on 6 September 2026.

It is vital that residents understand what the Plan means for Aston Clinton, including the implications for future housing growth in the village, and do not miss the opportunity to submit their views before the consultation closes.

To help residents gain a better understanding of the Plan and its implications for our village, Aston Clinton Parish Council's Planning Committee will hold an Extraordinary Meeting on:

Wednesday 29 July 2026 at 6.00pm
at the Parish Council Office in Aston Clinton Park, HP22 5HL

The Draft Local Plan and the Parish Council's response will be discussed, and members of the public are welcome to attend and ask questions during the public participation section.
