Have Your Say – Draft Buckinghamshire Local Plan 2025–2045
Aston Clinton Parish Council
Buckinghamshire Council is preparing a new Local Plan that will guide where and how development takes place across the county up to 2045.
The draft Local Plan is now open for public consultation, and residents are strongly encouraged to take part. This is a vital opportunity to comment on proposals that will shape the future of Buckinghamshire, particularly with regard to housing allocations that may affect Aston Clinton.
The draft Local Plan has been published in two parts:
-
Part A: The vision and objectives for the county, spatial strategies for housing and employment, and proposals to meet accommodation needs of travelling communities.
-
Part B: Development management policies that will be used to guide future planning applications.
All documents, including the draft Plan, Sustainability Appraisal, and supporting evidence, can be viewed here:

A virtual exhibition has also been produced, available here:

The consultation is open from Wednesday 17 September until 23:59pm on Wednesday 29 October 2025.
We urge all residents to take this opportunity to review the draft Local Plan and submit their comments. Your views will help shape the future of development both in Aston Clinton and across Buckinghamshire.
